Please participate in National Bike to Work Day.  Here’s how…

  1. Ride your bike to work

This is what it the entire event is all about.  It is that simple.  The more people who ride to work on that one day, the more successful we will be.

Please! Take the Pledge and register now by clicking Here.

FLASH As an incentive to register our friends at LL Bean are offering several great prizes to be given to randomly selected registrants for the event.

A Camelback Mule personal hydration system.

Ten Stowaway backpacks

  1. Form a team to ride your bike to work

Want to ride to work?  Invite others to join you.  Form a team.  Ask your employer to get some jerseys for some extra publicity.

  1. Volunteer

A lot of work goes into this event and it doesn’t just happen.  There are plenty of things to do both before and during the day of the event.  Many hands make light work.

  1. Host/Support/Reward other cyclists

As you will see, LOTS of private and public organizations contributed in very tangible ways to make this event possible.  Please consider joining the team and demonstrate that supporting cycling is good for business.

  1. Open additional Staging Area or Energizer Stations or Rally Points

If your business or occupation is in an area or community that is not currently served by the current year’s plan, consider sponsoring a Staging Area/Energizer Station or Rally Point to encourage more cyclists in your area/community.

  1. Be a courteous motorist.

If your job prevents you from riding your bike to work or if you have other requirements like child or elder care that make riding your bike to work impractical, you can still participate by driving carefully...with our gratitude.
